Having previously agreed a 2-year lease to Aldo to stabilise the property through a challenging period post Covid, we were instructed by the St Christopher’s Place Estate to re-market the property ahead of the lease expiry.
Our marketing resulted in a best bids scenario, with interest from multinational retailers but ultimately led to a new lease with Aldo who upgraded their franchisee to a new UK entity trading who accepted no rent free thus mitigating the landlord’s void exposure.
